Whale Watching |
If
you are staying at Tassiriki Ranch between the months of June
to November you will have a fantastic opportunity to see Humpback
whales migrating north from the Antarctic to warmer Australian
waters and then heading south again. Humpback whales hug the
coastline as they migrate northwards, this year the migration
has been quite close to the shore with whales sighted very
close to the South Ballina break-wall and just beind the surf
off South Ballina Beach. It is truly humbling to see these
large creatures slowly cruising northwards oblivious to the
huge crowds gathered to view their majestic movements. More
